Procoin PRC100 Coin Counter

The Procoin PRC100 is a compact, high-speed coin counting machine designed for professional cash handling in banks, retail stores, and other businesses with significant coin turnover.  The device is known for its cost-effective and reliable performance in counting pre-sorted coins or tokens.

Design and Features

The Procoin PRC100 is engineered for ease of use and efficiency, featuring a user-friendly double-knob adjustment system that allows operators to select up to 10 different coin denominations with a single setting. The machine automatically off-sorts coins that are at least 0.5 mm smaller than the selected denomination, ensuring accurate counts. It supports two counting modes: Continuous Counting (CC) and Preset Counting (PC), where the machine stops at a user-defined number.

Key specifications include:

  • Counting Speed: 1,800–2,500 coins per minute, depending on configuration and coin type.

  • Coin Size Compatibility: Diameters of 14–34 mm and thicknesses of 0.8–3.8 mm.

  • Hopper Capacity: Up to 1,500 coins.

  • Dimensions: 320 mm (W) x 225 mm (D) x 165 mm (H).

  • Weight: 8.8 kg.

  • Power Supply: 110V/50 Hz or 230V/60 Hz, with a power consumption of 40W.

  • Display: 5-digit LED display for clear count readouts.

  • Additional Features: Memory storage for counted coins and a separate output tray for off-sorted coins.

The PRC100 is designed for pre-sorted coins, making it ideal for environments like retail shops, where coins from cash drawers can be quickly counted at the end of a shift. Its compact size and lightweight construction make it suitable for small to medium-sized operations.

Applications

The PRC100 is widely used in industries with high coin turnover, such as:

  • Banking: For efficient coin processing in tellers‘ operations.

  • Retail: To streamline end-of-day cash reconciliation.

  • Casinos and Gaming: For handling large volumes of tokens or coins.

  • Parking and Vending: To manage coin-based transactions.
